As today's banner is of Pereira in Colombia, I remembered that there is a beautiful bamboo cathedral in this city. Could you put any pictures of it? Besides, tell me a little about the city. It looks like a big one.
PS.: I am sorry I don't speak Spanish and I am not guilty. There wasn't never interest of our politicians in putting Spanish and Portuguese together in Latin America. I grew up listening to what the U.S. imposed on us, unfortunately.

Pereira is the capital of the Risaralda department of colombia. It is the 8th most populated city in Colombia with 649,778 habitants. I'm colombian but i've been living in Miami, FL for 6 years. I know English, French, and Spanish and i want to learn Portuguese and Italian. Here are some pictures of the bamboo cathedral:

Hi aagos. as for the bamboo cathedral I can tell you that it no longer exists, they demolished it to build a commercial center. My city is quite pleasant and you can see but of her in the Brazilian forum.

Imcm, thanks for the pictures! Pity the cathedral was put down! I used to find it gorgeous. Why did they destroy it?

What a pity! I didn't know this beautiful architecture of bamboo had been put down. Money is always guilty.
