Nice, two things i didnt like about Israeli highways,
1. 110km/h is way too restrictive, i mean in Europe its 130km/h, in Germany its unlimited, in UAE its 160km/h (at least in Abu Dhabi?!)
2. the new highway to Jerusalim, the wind is very-very strong, sometimes its very dangerous
What i liked that they are well built, nice surface, wide enough and the roads to Ben Gurion are simply amezing, HUGE signs you simply cant get lost.

Tell me about it... :( did you know that the 110kmph is only in effect in one freeway? :( in most out of town highways it's 90kmph, and 100 in a select few freeways.

with regards to the surface of the roads, it's not always good, but mostly, it's just fine.

I think they will rise the speed limit gradually as new researches find most of the crashes are not the result of fast driving.. We (Israeli drivers) as general suck at driving - many people do crazy stuff.

enforcing the insane speed limits doesn't do anything against it. I am not a bad driver. I am a good driver. I've only had one small accident which was my fault and that was when I just got my license. but I had my license revoked twice because of me driving 90 or 100 in places where it's safe, but forbidden.

He was talking about the stretch from Ben Gurion to Tel Aviv on Highway 1. He's quite correct there. Generally, though, I agree, the signs are somewhat lacking.

Yeah right, but honestly you still have much more and better signs on other roads than here in Hun ;)
