its good to see faislabad developing is well.

The people living in faisalabad are usually industrial and they should come up with such projects to improve the city. Not only should they invest in the commercial sector but also in the public sector to provide standard recreational facilites to the locals.
Faisalabad is the THIRD largest city of PAKISTAN but it has not developed swiftly like Islamabad or any other new city due to the fact that people do not want to change their lifestyle and opt for a better living standard. It is time that people should realize and step forward in the development of this large city.

I think the construction may have already been started coz I saw its add in the newspaper in november 2004 so its kind of an old project.

Kohinoor is doing all the development there. They seem to be making a good profit so my guess is that they will launch more porjects. We need pictures though!

well yea, sorry i missed this thread, well theres lot of construction still going on at kohinoor city cant tell which building is which, but i hear its gone into last stage of construction.

kohinoor one shopping mall is open and is the best shopping mall in pakistan.

Unless someone has an objection (with a strong reasoning), i think all these threads about xyz shopping mall, canals, etc should be merged with the city project update threads.

Anything below 12-15 floors should NOT have a thread of its own.

I only support threads for 15- floors if it's something grand. Like City Centre, Lahore. Otherwise, there should be one thread for small ones.

Further work on doburj tower has got very slow. Reason is this, that they are furnishing the already built 4 floors. It,s first 4 floors are fully functional now and many multination brands have opened there outlets. Hope after completing the remaining glass and other decorating work they will move ahead to the construction of next floor.

Tehy usually do that due to lack of funds.

our people always know that there is a risk of losing funds anytime.... so why do they try to build such huge things??? they could have sold the plot to somebody else (before announcing the project)

but this is a good project for FSD... I'm really looking forward to it

Ya it's realy not good convention in Pakistan. Investors try to recover step by step what they invest during construction, like they have no surity. Some laws should be formulated in this regard by the Govt

This building has a cool design. This place or this road is amazing to shop. :) Its going to a very commerically successful location for the future.

Regent mall is not very far from my office in D-ground. It's complete now n functional with many shops etc opened. I will try some day to take its pic.

I dont know what does lhc stands for any how i did my metric from Allama Iqbal high schoo n then Fsc from GC of Science Fsd n then later i passed my professional exams of CA inter from CCP & PCA both in Fsd. Right now doing articleship in M.Yousaf adil Saleem & co. Chartered Accountants

Now let me know if u have been in any of above institute
