to all the downtown GURUS.
getting mix feedback from freinds, loft lovers, family.(1100 wilshire)
location issue,pricing issue,supermarket, grocery store,mall... you name it.
need feedback......550k-650k for 2 bedroom.

How many square feet are you looking at? Also, are they going to be soft lofts (meaning 9-10 foot enclosed ceilings) or true lofts (11-12 ft exposed ceilings)? You should find out answers to these questions.

If they start at 1,200 sq ft for $550K, that's a decent asking price (pretty average market rate for downtown currently), especially considering the views you'll have, and the amenities (rooftop pool). The only thing you won't have in the near future is walkable retail, due to location. But if you get an east or north facing place, your views will be unbeatable for the foreseable future.

^That seems absurdly inexpensive based on what I have seen on the westside. Buy it. Even if there is a bubble, it will likely be worth more than than in a few years.

thanks for all your reply. someone from their office told me that they will go on sale next month.they sold 2 penthouses around 1.6 mil each.waiting on pre-qual.thanks.

Good luck! I just put in an offer yesterday on a studio loft in the Historic Banking District, so I'm playing the waiting game too...
