Hey guys I have another development here.
Its in the uptown district near Balboa Park, near the recently completed Park Laurel Towers. The article with the website Im going to post is about a Catholic Church selling the land to a developer who in turn is going to build two 15 story condominium towers. They said there going to look like a 55 story tower built in Chicago...I don't know who thats going to work, but Im sure it'll look different since they said there going to try make them blend in with the historic church nearby.

Anyways Im to lazy to do all that copy-pasting whatever so heres the website for you, it has maps and pics, but no renderings thats for later I guess. Enjoy.

Ah yes Uptown and added density! This is definitely a good thing. Hopefully it can really spread to place like North Park, Golden Hill, South Park, and City Heights.

We really need to get Trolley/streetcar lines running up Park, 6th Ave, University and El Cajon Blvd!! This would make San Diego so cool, I really think we would get tons of respect around the nation if we had a hip cosmopolitan streetcar system in our inner neighborhoods.

With added density along these arteries San Diego could become so vibrant and really be a model for other cities.

As expensive as San Diego real estate is, an affordable housing component almost becomes irrelevant. Still, it's too bad that this city is increasingly reserved for the wealthy. The more housing, the better. Eventually, prices might stabilize, bubbles might deflate, and the housing will remain.

I'm glad they're finally building highrises along 6th Ave, next to Balboa Park. Hopefully, it will look like Park Avenue in NYC one day (without the height, of course).
