Bada Imambara

This building was built in a famine relief program in 1784 by Nawab Asaf-ud-Daulla.

The structure took six years to be completed.

Gigantic and breathtaking. A great architecture for a great cultural city. Lucknow at its best. But still cant ignore the depths of deteriorations this has gone. I wonder when its going to be renovated.
