Well according to this article by David Friedman of Los Angeles Downtown News thats exactly what the city of Los Angeles and the Dodgers should do.

I dont know how the economics of moving the stadium would work. And doubt they could do it in one off season. Where would the dodgers play till it was fully set back up?

surely they wouldn't physically move the stadium. they would build a new one at union station.

I don't think they should build a new one. The one on Chavez Ravine will be an historic structure soon even as a modernist building. It embodies the period Los Angeles came into its own. It will join Wrigley and Fenway as one of the few remaining treasure pieces of baseballs glory.

It certainly is a classic...and when Yankee Stadium is replaced with a new version, DS will incedibly become the third oldest in the majors.
No question that DS is unique and still holds its old "Taj Mahal of baseball" status even during the age of retro stadiums; ironically the straight forward symmetrical field seems more in line with the old parks of basebll than the forced quirkiness of many of the retroparks.
It is, however, incredibly large for an era when baseball parks are supposed to be intimate as well as car-oriented in an era of walk up ball parks. That the Dodgers's two California NL rivals have spectacular new parks could be an incentive to the Dodgers and their fans wanting one, too.
What is the general opinion in LA about whether the team needs a new park or not?

Well, i love dodger Stadium, but its location is horrible. There is no option except to drive (hence the late comers and early leavers). When you draw 50,000 a game its maddening trying to get in and out. I think a new stadium should be built downtown, where rail is accessible, cars are an option and people can walk to games. It will do much to enliven downtown and make more people realize all the changes that are happening.

People..it has been said that Dodger Stadium is the best baseball stadium ever built. Leave it alone.
Or would you rather have them play at the Coliseum again where the outfield seats are 700 feet away from home plate?
Lol.
