Eventually DART light rail and TRE commuter train will serve the airport more completely! With a station at the airport and possibly a connector train to the Centerpoint station for the commuter train.

Great looking set of Terminals there at DFW. The all new International Terminal D will make it only better. I can't wait for the official opening this coming week.

That would be great. I think every large airport should have a light rail, high speed or some type of commuter rail link from the city center to the airport.

This aerial is looking east towards Dallas. The sprawl you see is Irving. The freeway runing left to right is George Bush Turnpike. On the left it is intersecting LBJ(I-635). The group of highrises in the upper right is Las Colinas. This photo shows the terminals laid out and how much room there is for terminal expansion. Only 5 of the semi-circles are open terminals, while others on the left and right are currently remote parking lots. You can see the new terminal right in the center. Just look for the bright white concrete.

The second photo, also by Jack Hannen, shows a great head on shot of the terminal. It really looks great compared to the semi-circle 70s terminals. That squared off shape means that the skylink trains run into the terminal rather than around.
