Depends on what the city is important for.

In most major countries, there are several "important cities".

Before 50 years is GuangZhou,ShangHai,Nanjing and Tianjin

in 50 years is HongKong,ShangHai,ShenZhen and Taipei

after is HangZhou,SuZhou,Qingdao,Chengdu,Dalian.

DO you agree?

Why would Hangzhou, Suzhou, Qingdao, Chengdu and Dalian become the most important Chinese cities in 50 years?

Also, I don't see Shanghai going off the list of most important Chinese cities any time soon. The same with Hong Kong, Shenzhe and Guangzhou.

Again, why would cities like Hangzhou, Suzhou, Qingdao, Chengdu, Dalian... etc. be among the most important Chinese cities?

Instead of simply listing city names, why not provide reasons why you think they would be important? It's more convincing that way.
