View Full Version : Most important Chinese city in 50 years? raymond_tung88 June 28th, 2005, 11:56 PM In your opinion, which Chinese city do you think will be the most important in all apsects (cultural, financial, social) in about 50 years? Beijing Shanghai Hong Kong Other null June 29th, 2005, 01:11 AM Yangzhou,no contest! Pangu June 29th, 2005, 01:25 AM Depends on what the city is important for. In most major countries, there are several "important cities". raymond_tung88 June 29th, 2005, 02:25 AM Yangzhou,no contest! OK!!! Seems unlikely but alright. jingtian59 June 29th, 2005, 12:39 PM Before 50 years is GuangZhou,ShangHai,Nanjing and Tianjin in 50 years is HongKong,ShangHai,ShenZhen and Taipei after is HangZhou,SuZhou,Qingdao,Chengdu,Dalian. DO you agree? Pangu June 29th, 2005, 06:45 PM Why would Hangzhou, Suzhou, Qingdao, Chengdu and Dalian become the most important Chinese cities in 50 years? Also, I don't see Shanghai going off the list of most important Chinese cities any time soon. The same with Hong Kong, Shenzhe and Guangzhou. rzj2000 June 29th, 2005, 06:51 PM Hangzhou, Suzhou Qingdao ZHUHAI DONGGUAN Dalian Xiamen NINGBO NANJING WUXIis right! Chengdu only 人多! Pangu June 29th, 2005, 09:59 PM Again, why would cities like Hangzhou, Suzhou, Qingdao, Chengdu, Dalian... etc. be among the most important Chinese cities? Instead of simply listing city names, why not provide reasons why you think they would be important? It's more convincing that way. |
