Then go for those drum type . bought this brand called ignis.. but I recommend u to buy alpha instead. cos the installation bracket has the hook type to make your life easy during installation. mine only 23 liter.. tank. mind u guys.. if you are going to put plaster ceiling for your main toilet.. better plan properly how /where u going to mount your drum. and must be done before the ceiling go up.. a 18" opening will do for later maintenance job. Bought a fan at karefour just now.. nice neaty fan by "earthstar" hahahaha ...

summary is as follows :

Kondoservis did a good job in attending to the complains - within 2 weeks or earlier. In fact, in 1 occasion they responded in less than a week (2 or 3 days) - excellent! :applause:

What progress are you referring? Reno work? I usually go once or twice a week to check out the progress, right now, the plaster ceiling is complete. The hacking work is almost done & of course the whole place is in a mess!!!!

Hhahaa... like I said, in a total mess, I mean cement bags all over the place, toilet bowl lying in the living room, bathroom doors leaning against the staircase, a few empty plastic bags of half consumed teh tarik, packets of chicken rice left around, cigarettes all over, contractor helmet (yellow color) & dusty environment.

HHmm... not sure about the rule for color, you will have to check with the management. I didnt think of changing colors though, just stick on with the original look.

People mentality is hard to change. The thing is I never heard or cross upon any good solution for this. Even when you read your DMC upside down n it emphasis on this particular behaviour, it also didnt say anything abour penalising if one didnt follow the rules :(

guys, like i suggested some time ago. start your protem committee. since theres few of you that knows each other. just talk to your immediate neighbour, by then im sure you can reach bout 8 to 12 household.

then decide on a date for the 1st informal committee meeting, print some flyers. and give it to the management office and guard house. ask them to distribute for you. you can also drop it at some of the occupied house or put on their car.

you can have the 1st round among house owners, form a protem committee and decide on some common grounds and rules, make a list of items you want to bring up to the management. Once is final, then get some signatures and submit to the management for action.

Dryer is not cheap. As correctly as you pointed out, sun play n important role in making someone choose either to buy or not. Why buy when you can get it for free ;)

For Block M, Unit 2 n 5 : the 3rd bedroom is facing the wall of fire exit right..so instead of like what I have, a big window, I see this 2 unit got door n small window with additional space than most of the owner, turn it into a hanging or storage space.

I went there last 2 weeks to pay the contractor for the grile. Frm the outside, the unit look tidy - no shoes cabinet, flower pots with matching curtains for all the windows. So I guess the girls really take good care of the unit :)

Just to update, heheheh, things get more excited as the day approach, we went & selected the tiles for both bathrooms.... water heater is up already & all hacking & wet works are done. So, next week, they will start putting the tiles up & the week after some wall paintings. I guess by then, it will start to look more like a home as now, things are pretty messy.

Anyway, let's hope that once we have all moved in, we will not stop chatting here as I see that most of us are equally excited about reno work, exchange of ideas etc.. in the future when we are neighbours, we can find some common topic to continue this chatting right?

I think Utopia0 bought tandem parking for his Havanna. I dont think they reserved it for penthouse owner only. If not then Raymond should have it though...

I havent activated my parking access. So that day I drop by n drove my car inside n when I told him I want to visit my unit, he asked me to activate my access n park in my respective car park.

So, in doing so, he want me to reverse car, park it outside, then go to management office to activate it n then park my car at the respective place rather than park at the visitor parking lot.

I was so mad. So what I did was simply park outside n then walk in.

or is it type D? but i think its unlikely to be type D because for havanna type D is only for units 12 and 13 only but yours is unit 7 right? so i must be Savannah the next block. plus i think the salesgirls said that all klcc view units for havanna has been sold.

i think if u are looking for a klcc view... u better get it soon else it will not be available for long i guess... the ones left in havanna are only the low and med cost flats view! hehehe... but they do an attractive price plus discounts too! they use to have 10% discount for the units left in havanna.

Jelatek price was based on RM180 psf, Havanna : RM200 psf n now Savanna : RM220

Based by calculation. Havanna n Savanna has the same layout n size. Meaning that yours 334 k over 1365 sf roughly make it around that figure plus the additional 1k per floor.

or is it type D? but i think its unlikely to be type D because for havanna type D is only for units 12 and 13 only but yours is unit 7 right? so i must be Savannah the next block. plus i think the salesgirls said that all klcc view units for havanna has been sold.

i think that would cover inflation and the interest rates laa....

I am probably going to buy a Havannah unit. I wanted to get a unit with a KLCC view, but a friend of mine said that my living room would get real hot because it would mean that it is facing west. She also said that another condo would probably block the view anyway. Any thoughts on this?

Yes. Your living room will be hot..but not that hot hot..cause most of it will be reflected by the lanai n also the apartment overlooking the KLCC view. I think it should be okay.

Anything above level 22 will be okay if you really want to have the KLCC view ;)

I didnt said it was rather unfair for him. The onus is upon him what. Doesnt matter how expensive a unit can be, there is always just one unit in the whole world that have the view, the taste n the feeling that you want ;)

Indeed I prefer Kampung Warisan view more. Much more green n it does not have any high rise building as far as I concern...

Maybe you could see Menara Alpha for afar. N Genting Highland. A better choice.

But for a unit that is high enough, I think KLCC view worth all the money, providing any future development does not exceed your current unit level ;)

i was there yesterday... parking was a nightmare!!! the whole of mid valley was stuck in a massive traffic jam! all around mid-valley....
and with the old manual car... sigh.... again bersabar shj laa.... :)

loads of good stuffs i think...
-hard wood floorings
-food disposal units
-wall mount cloth hanger for dry yards
-some nice designs remote controlled fans... but kinda expensive that shop i think.

tak sempat nak cover the whole exhibition coz watching a movie after that... pontianak menjerit! hehehe.... 'lawak bodoh' movie... kinda fun jugak in the end i think....

I dont think MPAJ asked us to pay already. What we got that day was only the estimated amount that have to be pay. ;)

If you want to make the unit your own stay, I dont think where it face will be an issue right, unless you plan to rent it out.

Beside it is not everyday you going to have a hot living room due to evening sun. By the time you reach home, I think it will cool down a bit. Weekend will be different I guess. ;)

How come you didn't get the MPAJ notice? I think they send it somewhere in April. Maybe you should contact MPAJ n ask a copy of the assesment notice ;)

I havent activated my parking access. So that day I drop by n drove my car inside n when I told him I want to visit my unit, he asked me to activate my access n park in my respective car park.

So, in doing so, he want me to reverse car, park it outside, then go to management office to activate it n then park my car at the respective place rather than park at the visitor parking lot.

I was so mad. So what I did was simply park outside n then walk in.
I actually handed my access card to my designer who goes there almost every other day. So, whenever I visit, I just tell them I am the owner. They asked me how come no access card (of course very impolitely) & I just tell them the truth. So far, they never asked me to move outside, but just ask my unit number & let me go. Occasionally they would ask me not to give my access card & I will just tell them, "yeah, going to get it now!".

Hhhheheheee.. so no major argument erupted ...... yet!!
