and to think that a few years ago they wanted to demolish the pagoda house
because it wasnt in the international style!!

it's really was awful before reconstruction!

well I think its tel aviv's best building.
Its so outrageous, so foreign, so cosmopolitan!
exactly like the city itself!

for me Opera house is the best!

Yavne street is very nice...i like to walk there so many architecture buildings and dutch street...

Nice samples of innovative Israeli architecture but those are one of a kind buildings.

This cinema that isn't far Dizengoff Sq could be slated for demolition to build the Tel Aviv Cinema Tower.

And it looks gigantic and very bad and too tall for that site!!
tel aviv should keep that place with as little towers as possible because its
a UNESCO heritage site and you cant have a heritage site full of

This project is not located on Dizingoff sq, but a little further down Pinsker street, so there wont have a very direct impact on the square .
furthermore the cinema building and the buildings surrounding it are in bad shape and the area in general (between Disengoff sq and Bugrashov st.) is quite ugly .
such a project is exactly what the are needs IMO, it will mean renovations of historical buildings in the area and of the square itself, and will bring new life to the area . besides, the area already has a skyscraper - the hideous Klal tower (http://www.telavivinf.com/prat/built/mig/klal/page.html), a new modern tower will create some sort of a balance .

Similar to Ashdods concert hall style although Ashdods hall is nicer IMO...

i think the first one is much better..
