130 meters high. It was reduced, originally plans called for a 150 meter high tower, would still be the tallest structure in the entire Jerusalem and East Israel.
http://www.jerusalemtower.co.il/

Under very fierce opposition by lots of residents and environmental groups,

Maybe if the design was more pleasing to the eye and less industrial:

Its just a shame most of these towers will never be built!
and imagine they could all be built closer together to make
one big skyline.. much better than to build them all over the city!

ampa towers (3 towers of 8 storeys) are nearing construction
Ampa skyscraper, the fourth tower, is on hold - If the office
space market improves we can see a construction boom coming up,
it all depends what happens after the stupid disengagement (forced transfer of jews from their homeland) plan.
Most predict the intifada will only get worse, so we can expect the current
market improvement to stop and so these towers will remain frozen but
approved for the future.

TalB, the tallest tower ever proposed in Israel was to my knowledge "Center of the world" tower in jerusalem, which would have a world religions museum, and be
so tall you could have a lookout with a telescope from the northern tip of israel down to eilat, around 380 meters tall and 600 meters above sea level.

So I dont know if this towe will be built. Who in their right minds wants to live on top of the entrance of the Carmel Tunnels?
So this tower sounds rediculous!

I am a bit afraid this area of Tsameret-yoo-manhattan etc. towers
will eventually turn into a slum..
If these towers will be one next to the other, very crowded, and with
noisy streets on each side, and with more towers blocking the sun for them from ramat gan
I dont understand if youre rich with money why not look for a nice tower next to the sea?

Azazel
July 29th, 2005, 10:42 AM
No fear - I really like the density, and as long as the level of construction inside remains at the premium ( ramat gimur gvoha) prices will remain high enough.

Again, I really, really like the density. Will help the Tel-Aviv skyline a lot. :b:
