Definitivamente el Metro de Moscu es una obra de arte. Las obras antes de la "Perestroika" eran de una muy alta calidad, apra poner al alcance del pueblo el lujo y el glamour de las obras de artes, de la arquitectura barroca y neoclasica. Una joya en el sentido estricto de la palabra!! Además vean la distribuición de las Lineas!!! Es la muestra de una ciudad planificada y ordenada!!!

Hola, les hablo d elos datos del Metro de Madrid, mi ciudad, que es muy grande, siendo los datos para el año 2007: habrá 322 kilómetros de vías, 331 estaciones –73% adaptadas para minusválidos– y 2.151 coches de Metro.

Como veis con redes de metro y trenes de cercanías tan grandes.y extensas..es dificil...imposible, en serio, impedir atentados terroristas como los de Madrid en 2004 (192 muertos y 1500 heridos) o Londres, 2005, unos 50 muertos y 700 heridos.

Tienes razon Juanpa, el metro de Moscu es una obra de arte, pero lamentablemente para los que lo mantienen, no se puede autofinanziar solo, entonces siempre esta en numeros rojos, es una inversion constante.

Tiene que planificar de antemano el recorrido para usar sólo las estaciones adaptadas.

En casos como el de Madrid, las personas con movilidad reducida usan el metro sólo cuando saben que tanto estación de origen como de destino son adaptadas. Si no usan los autobuses, muchos de los cuales tienen rampas de acceso.

El ideal sería que toda la red estuviera adaptada. :)

El metro de Montreal tiene algo de muy particular, cada estacion fue diseñana por un arquitecto diferente y un artista fue asignado a cada estación para que creara una obra de arte integrada al diseño de la estación.

Las entradas al metro con el diseño de Héctor Guimard, además de en París, se encuentran repartidas en metros de todo el mundo.

Además de Montreal y Lisboa, en Ciudad de México tenemos una regalada por el Metro de París. Es una de las entradas a la estación de Bellas Artes, que se encuentra en el lateral del Palacio de Bellas Artes...

Exacto, la de Montreal es un regalo del metro de Paris, es la unica entrada en toda la red de metro que no esta protegida de la interperie.

Las 5 líneas del subte de buenos aires no constituyen una red muy extensa en comparación con los metros que ya se mostraron. Aun así el subte de buenos aires destaca por su antiguedad pues fue el primero en latino-america. Las distintas líneas fueron construídas por consorcios de distintos países con importantes inversiones en argentina por aquellos años(España, Inglaterra) En la actualidad el subte tiene 42.7 Km sin sumar el premetro o tranvia de superficie y la nuva línea H a inaugurarse en próximo año. la principal función de la red es ser un transporte para los casi 3 millones de habitantes de la capital federal y un vínculo integrado entre las líneas de tren que conectan el centro y capital con el área urbana de bs as (13 millones de Hab). LAs líneas D y B han sido extendidas y la líneas remodelada desde 2001, incluída la compra de nuevos trenes.

LRT subway

Guadalajara's subway (Sistema de Tren Eléctrico Urbano, or "SITEUR") opened to the public in 1989. It utilized a 5.3 km, 7 station tunnel built in 1974 and used by trolley-buses up until 1988.

There are two lines, 24 km, and 22 stations. Line 1 runs 6.5 km and 7 stations underground, while the newer Line 2 is completely underground. Parts of Line 2 are still under construction, including an elevated portion. Three more metro lines are planned.

por lo visto el de santiago no tiene nada que envidiarle a los metros de europaya tuviste que llegar...

Sin duda el mejor el de madrid aunq cueste reconocerlo! es impresionante la red ferroviaria q tiene.

Funciona con la tecnología de los funiculares, sólo hay 4 trenes, 8 estaciones, y un sólo tunel de 2km. Fue construído en 1956, y remodelado en 1992 para conectar la parte más baja de la ciudad con el Monte Carmel a 250 mts de altura.

Matizo que no son mias,yo solo las selecciono

el metro de Bilbao me gusto mucho, es moderno pero no excesivo en su infraestructura. Hasta ahora es mi preferido.
depues me gusta el de Moscú y el de Madrid.
Creo que en Latino América no estamos tan atrasados con respecto a los demás, por el contrario, existen unos metros bellos y funcionales

En DC baje las escaleras mas empinadas que jamas he usado...
