Yeah yeah..I'm just a sad old queen, but I'm in the middle of buying a house with my boyfriend and we've had a big row and he's fucked off and we need to arrange a survey in the morning...I've settled down to get myself pissed, but where does that get me for tomorrow?? I'm thinking about calling in sick tomorrow...oh shit...why can't life be simple??!!words of condolence/understanding gratefully appreciated..x :)

Talk it through with your boyfriend, try everything to get hold of him! Apologise etc and try and be early for your appointment tomorrow!
Oh, but as you are pissed, erm you don't really have many options! So you will probly turn up tomorrow on your own, but even then you can talk it through with your survey person. Don't miss it except for meeting up with your boyfriend to sort things out

And to think that I originally joined this site to follow the goings on of Arena Central Tower??? WTF???

If your that upset I suggest you go and get well oiled tonight, and then either:

A) Set your alarm to get you up in time to call in sick before the daily jobs worth gets in. Then take off two days as oposed to one (it will look totally fake otherwise and a by product of a heavy Sunday night) and take a vacation far away from home, it could be fun and life is short... would your work staff attend your funeral?.

B) Turn your mobile to silent and have a lie in, when you wake up call work and say that you felt unwell over the weekend and couldn't sleep, you overslept and are going to dash into work right away, but you still don't feel right.

c) Call your boyfriend, If you love someone you should never ever go to sleeo on an argument. Period!

That's just dreadful! Buying property is so stressful, I think there are bound to be arguments involved. Can the survey be delayed by a day?

Apologising only works the day after, in my experience, better to keep your dignity and the almost certain knowledge that you are 101% right and the agrieved party, even if you suspect that you may have actually been a tiny bit to blame, in an innocent and blameless kind of way. Have you got a 'third party' who can contact your bf and say you might accept an apology, if it was sincere?

Ooops, just saw the title of the thread, but, while I am not a brummie, I believe I may have been conceived there, in a big suburban housing area near the airport. That's all my mum could tell me about it. Romantic, eh?

And we don't have these agony aunt moments on the Liverpool Forum, it's far too blokey, and so I have to travel a bit to indulge in my interest in other peoples personal problems.

Well Brum forum meets are apparently quite blokey and our moderator is one of the most blokiest gay blokes on this forum IMO, and not that I am complaining but shouldn't this thread be on the skybar, you'd get a busier response there I think.
