(probably largest tourist/population ratio in the world: ~ 28 percent!)

2. Great britain & France (Mainly London/Paris)
3. Hungary, Bulgaria and Romania (mostly family history trips, casinos)
4. Close-to-home countries: Turkey (Anatolia), Cyprus, Sinai, Greece
5. After-army trips: India, Thailand, South America, Australia/NZ
6. Russia - family and business trips
"New" Destinations "discovered" by Israelis this year:
Croatia/Slovenia - Relaxation trips
East Hungary - thermal baths
Tunisia, Marocco - family history trips, relaxation
(Tunisia - opens up in 2005 for Israelis, 10-20,000 expected)
Caribbean - flights to FLA + vacation cruises
Destination loosing popularity:
Uzbekistan, Azarbeijan (Political Unrest)

including 'thank you' postcards given at the airport to hand after stays in hotels.
Irregularities: The disengagement plan has cancelled vacation trips
inside Israel by Israelis but also many overseas bookings in August
were cancelled but a lot of people not wating to be here while this
tragedy happens have booked in these weeks so it has stabilized

If theres peace next year, expected tourism into Israel: 1.7-2 million.
Hotels room occupation rate is up by 30 percent than 2004.
