Really ambitious architecture in some stations and some works of art.

^^ Simply Amazing!

Aesthetics and functionality is at play here. And yes, I have to agree that these stations are somehow similar to Hong Kong's MTR Stations. So, that makes it unoriginal, but still acceptable, given that Nanjing Metro's planners had good taste for choosing to emulate Hong Kong's MTR.

Nice stations, China's infrastructure development is simply one of the best if not the best.

I don't think it replicates Hong kong's MTR may be just have some aesthetics in common.

I agree, it's definitely influenced by HK MTR. Why no pedestrian doors? Don't most of the subway systems in China being built now have them?

I don't think it replicates Hong kong's MTR may be just have some aesthetics in common.

The exit signs are near replicas of HK MTR, as is the font used for the Nanjin Railway station...

Even rollingstock is made by the same company. M stock of MTR was originally made by Metro Cammell now Alstom, Nanjing Metro also uses new Alstom cars.

Only the overhead in tunnels is different as HK MTR does not used a rigid steel overhead as the catenary.

you mean the font of those big characters on the wall? that was traditional Chinese style which had widely used in every aspect.Using this font in metro might be initiated by HK MTR, but it currently has became a standard in all Chinese subway stations.

Mind-blogging indeed, by the way, I think it's a sibling of Hong Kong MTR, but I wonder why didn't Nanjing subway emulate HK MTR equiping with platform screen doors.
