Nice pics, and thanks for showing a city I've never seen before. Looks like some classic stuctures there.

I've been there a few times. Excellent photos man! They have some good buildings.

Great Photos. I love seeing places that I know little about. I had a boyfriend from Christchurch a while back who said that Otago - Dunedin and Invercargil are basically very Scottish and they even have a different accent to normal NZ - is that true?

Looks like some classical buildings there and its bigger than I thought too.

It's true in a way. The buildings that represent the scottish accent of the area can't really be found anywhere else in New Zealand. But otherwise they aren't _to_ different to other cities.

As for its size, the population is about 110,000 (or near abouts).

btw, it snows there, rite? for the latitude, almost 46°S, must have a temperate weather..?

It snows occasionally in the winter. I was unfortunate enough for it not to snow while I was there, but there is usually 3-5 snow-days a year I think.

Cool looking city...somewhat similar to cities we would find in northern USA.
