I actually don't know why its so empty, it's like that everytime I pass by there, only some tour groups (?) and kids riding bikes going to the 7-11 there to buy drinks and snacks.

It's not empty ga! One of my friend works and lives there in the service apartment. Maybe because of the weekend, you'd see more kids and tour groups than others. There were also a lot of site workers having their lunch in the food court.

Last Monday, September 3rd, Airbus showcased its A380 to the Asian Aerospace International Expo and Congress 2007, held in Hong Kong for the first time. I was at the Royal Plaza having bufflet. It was so funny many cooks brought kitchen equipments and make a lots of noise and walked around every tables.

I was at RED in IFC - right under the fireworks.

Watching the TVB broadcast now on TV... delayed by 12 hours. New Years for this side of the earth in 30 minutes.

W Kowloon Cultural District had plenty of open spots for a full view of the fireworks even half an hour before the show began. I made a good choice. :)

............i m dissappointed by the IFC fireworks... i thought it could match taipei 101's frieworks.. oh well..., i guess they'll spend more on the CNY one.

o well... HK's fireworks display for new year had never impressed anybody. Let's say it's an improvement lol

Nothing of the sort.

The first few (very basic) fireworks got an "ooh-aah" kind of reaction, then everyone got bored before the finale, which to be fair was pretty decent (the fireworks shooting off the sides).

Didn't feel any rumbling or collapsing feeling.

June 2008 Forum Meet

As we have an Australian forumer in town soon, let's plan a dinner on a weeknight next week + an outing next weekend (June 21/22). I have contacted a few of you already offline, but to those who haven't received my messages, want to join us?
