Falak ol Aflak is a wonderful 2,000 years old castle with 12 towers and 22.5 meters high walls in the center of Khorramabad.

yes, you are rigth in part becouse Spain was dominated for the muslim people for 700 years, until five centuries ago. But in Spain there are very variety of castles...

I'm sure you mean some Spanish castles look like this ancient castle! :)

I don't think there is any Spanish castle in Iran but there are many Portuguese and some French and Dutch castles.

This is a French castle in Shoosh, the height of walls is about 40 meters:

Pretty impressive, but there are so many stunning castles in the world that this one doesn´t go to my top 10. It is a great deal older than most of those other castles though, and for historical significance I´ll raise the rating a bit. 8.5 pts...
