Do you think London will do, or should do something like this 2008 olympic equestrian events coming to Hong Kong (www.skyscrapercity.com/showthread.php?t=232928) as it is meant to benefit the whole of the country. Looking at the distance between Bejjing and Hong Kong. You can fit the UK about three times, so if they can do it so can we.

The football and boating events are taking place outside London. Is that not enough?

This IS the London Olympics. I don't think we'd have been too impressed had we won it and they started shipping events down to London...
