I think it is opening in November

I like its design

It looks a lot different than the typical glass and steel chinese airports, but then again it isn't brutalist.

Nice

NAIA IS ISNT THAT SMALL!!! ACTUALLY IT IS THE BIGGEST AIRPORT IN THE PHILIPPINES WHICH CAN ACCOMODATE 15 MILLION PASSENGER A YEAR!!!!
triple the big size of the original terminal w/ 67,000 square meters only and can accomodate 6million passengers. and the TERMINAL 2 (centennial terminal) that has 75,000 square meters only and can accomodate 9million passengers a year only!

TERMINAL 3 HAS 189,000 SQUARE METERS big!!! the design capacity is 15million passenger a year!!

yeah its very unique design compred to other asian airport w/c is more on glass and metal...............w/c is VERYGUD TOO!!!

dis terminal will tentatively open this december,05!!!!
....................................................................................

so by december terminal 3 will be manila's INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT and the terminal 2 become a provincial terminal!

If you are going to look at the ceiling of the naia-terminal 3 you will notice that there is no lamp/light attach to the ceiling because it uses the natural light coming from the sun during daylight (part of the roof is made of glass i think to let the light of the sun lit the entire area) and once the evening comes the light on the V-shape beams open and it literally gives light to the ceiling and not the floor and this actually gives a relaxing and tranquil atmosphere to the building and i like that it makes me feel like im in my living room.

GOOD JOB MANILA!!

WHY T-3 ISN'T OPEN YET?????

>>>>>>>>>>>The contractor (TAKENAKA) needs to finish some unfinished business. They need to make an access tunnel under secondary runway and lengthen the secondary runway to accomodate larger aircraft. The moved the July 21 opening to November 2005. The IATA inspected the facilities prior to its opening on July 21 and concluded that it should not be open not unless the Terminal and supporting infrastructure is totally completed.
