Another part of my random London shots taken a while ago, these are mostly from the City and a few shots underway from Waterloo station towards Wimbledon near where I currently reside :)

Some highrises in Southwark on the opposite bank of River Thames from the City

Somewhere in the City
http://img168.echo.cx/img168/3059/image935ov.jpg
It was pretty hot outside, about 30 degrees C what is not very common in London

Passing the Millenium Bridge and St.Paul's cathedral
http://img168.echo.cx/img168/1693/image624td.jpg
Passenger boat passing under Millenium Bridge, you can see Tate Modern gallery in the background which was... a power plant just a while ago :|

View from Blackfriars bridge, a train passing on a nearby bridge with skyscrapers of the City in the background

After crossing the river we're in Southwark which is not considered to be the most pleasant borough of London, though the riverbank is being redeveloped
http://img168.echo.cx/img168/8760/image656uq.jpg
Just minutes later we're in a train in Waterloo station ready to depart to Wimbledon.

London Eye seen just after the train leaves the station

A Eurostar train resting in Watarloo
http://img168.echo.cx/img168/771/image695zs.jpg
A Southwest Trains service train passing, Southwest Trains mainly serve the Southwestern part of London metro area and other towns in Southern England
http://img168.echo.cx/img168/8743/image705lw.jpg
Stopping at Clapham Junction which according to this board is Europe's busiest railway station. It's nothing interesting though, just a countless amount of platforms and rails. The reason why it's so "busy" is because of all suburban services which usually stop here from all around the Southern part of London and all towns south from London. Trains stop and depart every second.

A few minutes later approaching Wimbledon
http://img168.echo.cx/img168/5214/image729cf.jpg
Just changing the train at Wimbledon station, a Soutwest Trains unit approaching, these are fast and comfortable trains, though most suburban service trains are older (still pretty good though)
http://img168.echo.cx/img168/6938/wim2yo.jpg
A bit later in my final destination - one of the small suburban stations in New Malden where I happen to live now :)
http://img168.echo.cx/img168/2/image738wf.jpg
Many people in London use bikes for travelling to work, universiies or schools. Some leave their bicycles locked near the station and just pick them on their way to work, then lock them near the station after coming back
