And located just north of Port Elgin and west of Owen Sound on Highway 21 is Southampton, Ontario, a town of about 3,000, also a beach town on Lake Huron in Bruce County (in the Town of Saugeen Shores). Southampton is famous for its lighthouses and is the home of the Bruce County Museum and Archives.
