Tis good to be back. The twat deleted the Preston thread too. I'm glad the forums wernt down all week cos I'm going to Liverpool tomorrow and would've been pretty dissappointed if I couldnt have posted my piccies before going to Toronto on Saturday!

Stunning cloud formation, that was tuesday 12th, remember seein it and thinking wow, i'll bet scouserdave will take some ideally located shots of that. :)

Notice how brown the base of it was, is that pollution being trapped beneath it...!

You could see that cloud from Preston too. I remember somebody pointing it out.

When I first spotted it, I thought it was just me. I asked the guy fishing nearby what he thought the cloud looked like and he thought the same. He caught an eel a few mins later, btw :cheers:

Shane McGowan was amusing (I went to see the Pogues). Gave the Stands the swerve though.

Nice festival, btw: lots of mums and dads with their sproglets. all very chilled out and good natured.

the dance tent was full of bug-eyed characters in their mid-thirties who'd clearly been raving non-stop since 1988. Like the Quad never closed.

Mate of mine went there. Recorded The Subways set for me (for the old farts on the forum, I don't mean The Subway Sect). Cracking band, similar to The Hives, except they're just kids. :cheers:

All the HCT threads have disappeared from the Brum forums...I know you'd appreciate how devastating that would be to us lot but Gothic says no threads are lost and all will be reinstalled within due course.......lets hope

At least we didn't suffer the same fate as the Downtown Liverpool forum that lost almost all its content (along with many other threads on ezboard) when a hacker attacked several months ago.

Yeah I guess it could've been much worse.

I havn't seen Liverpolitan about. Mind you, he wanted to change his user name. So what happens if the account is wiped? Is everything lost? It's a shame it didn't happen to Accy- it would be the perfect antedote to his 8000 posts :)
