Hi guys, I was flying to London on July the 7th but I had to postpone it for well known causes when I had already checked my luggage in. However, I managed to fly the 9th (some bloody terrorists are not gonna spoil my holidays :D ).

It's been 5 days instead of the 7 I had planned but still I've enjoyed it a lot, so I wanted to share my pics of really hot London.

Amazing Pictures - I know it sounds bad because Im an avid Birmingham lover, but ever since my first trip to London I always promised myself that once I had enough money I would move there. These have just re-inforced my love for the place. Im tyring to find pennies as we speak. Londons streets are the best anywhere, the colour in them and just the fun of the place is unmatched unless you go to other big cities in Britain and of course Dublin. Pubs - People try but you just cant copy a traditional British tiffy Is that one pub in your photos near whitehall close to a major train station? It looks familiar. Did you go in? was there pool tables on the top floor?

P.S COBAIN did you enjoy your trip and the British way of life? How does London compare to other places you have visited?

The pub is just 100m. from Trafalgar Square. We didn't make it to come in, that day Londoners were celebrating the anniversary of the end of WW2 and the pubs in the area were crowded.

The trip was fantastic despite the heat (hey, London was hot like hell and we didn't have a single drop of rain! ), since we had already been there twice before we could focus in the areas and activities we had previously enjoyed the most. British way of life is just wonderful and in many cases an example to others, and that's one of the reasons I was visitting London for the third time in my life. I as well know Birmingham and Coventry in UK.

About London vs other places I know, I must confess I travel less often than I'd liked to, so the only other main European city I know so far (besides Madrid, obviously) is Paris. Although I consider Paris just more beautiful than London and a must if visitting Europe, it just lacks something London definitely has got. Paris makes you feel like you're in a huge museum while London gives you that vibrant feeling that encourages you to join the city and be a part of it. It's just something I usually fail to explain, but let's say that London has something special that other cities despite being amazingly beautiful just don't have.

Thats fantastic to hear, thanks for the review. Also about the heat - we are currently in a drought - SE England has only had 5 inches of rain all year. - Do you like our drinking habbitats? lol ;)

I used to do that the few months after I joined the forum, you explore what was said and shown before and sometimes you forget that the threads are old when you post an answer. There's nothing bad about it, I don't why it pisses mod of so much :) (exept when the threads are troll nests of course).
