i don't understand how can this building possibly be the 2nd-lowest ranked nyc skyscraper in the ROT rankings (even metlife, 1 penn plaza, and exxon got higher ratings than it!).

Axa looked awesome when it was shown in Fantastic 4!

For now my favorite is the MetLife Tower @ Madison Square.

In 10 years it will surely change with all our great projects going on!

sounds good to me... Citigroup isn't one I'd call a box by any means..

and you guys can choose ESB/CHR/WTC....but those are kind of a given in most cases.. they're all favorites...

Leaving aside Chrysler, I have to pick Woolworth, a true gem.

However, last Tuesday I was in the city and walking along... er... 53rd? No no, farther north. The block Carnegie Hall is on (can you tell I'm not a native?), I happened to glance up at just the moment the side of that large triangular building slipped out of view, and I was left staring at what appeared to be a 60 story wall of glass with no building attached to it. I wish I'd had my camera; the effect was wonderful. I would love to know what that building is.

I guess the building you´re thinking of is Metropolitan Tower. 68 stories and 218 meters tall...

I'm so jealous of you guys, I wish I was from NYC. The Chrysler building is one of my all time favourites but I've also got a major soft spot for the Flat iron.

Yeah, Citigroup Center would have to be my favorite "non-box" building. But I'd have to say its my favorite building period.

American International Building.

My favourite ss is the Woolworth Building.

Woolworth and Metlife are my favorites. I likes the new Herst Tower too even though it's sort of a box.

Some of my personal favorites (excluding the biggest ones) are 40 Wall, Woolworth and One Worldwide Plaza. I guess I like 40 Wall best of those, very beautiful
