i can't recognize intersection but i beleive therewas a huge floading few years ago?

i don't think those pictures are from a few years ago. The triumph palace was finished in 2004 ( picture 3)

The buildings have such class!! Unlike plain old skyscrapers.

Loved the Nikulin statue/memorial, was my favorite actor.

Looks like it was built in either 30's or 50's, as it is clearly soviet, BUT - with definite gothic elements.

But generally speaking, I still don't understand what Moscow looks like. Need to visit it.

It is Khadynka field. Until 60's there was main moscow airport.
Now the field is under development.

Beautiful pictures, some of the best I've seen.
I'm glad that Moscow has so much modern development, yet still has a historical centre with gorgeous, ancient buildings. :)

some of the buildings are not my cup of tea, others just look great. The building in the 2nd pic is my fav.
