as for ashdod campus I think they put it off, theres a campus
Sami Shimon for civil engineering, I think with all the campuses they
dont need another.

The rehovot hall is still I think on the planning comittee. I dont think it
was approved.

calatrava bridge in P.T is finished.. nice but not amazing.. a bridge with cables in his ussual shapes

1) Project no. 1 is very important - it's supposed to be The Ashdod university. But I must say that I HATE the design - disgusting. This isn't freeform sculpture, it's architecture, and I say that these buildings are neither aesthetically pleasing, nor functional.

How will it compete? If you increase funding proportionately, both universities will be able to exist at the same time, while also attracting back ex-patriating scientists from america and europe.

theres too many colleges and universities in Israel already, they are
despirately trying to get jewish student to come learn in Israel to fill
up the places - and giving them huge grants to do so.

I say enough - kick out all the foreign colleges (and bogus ones like latvia univ. etc..)
close all the small stupid ones and make the universities larger and better like in all other countries!

Precisely - there are plenty of silly ass colleges that ain't worth shit.

We need more universities - and the most important thing is that these universities will attract more scientists.
