Kind of plain, but the star on it looks good.

the big I and the writing on it are no longer in place... there were on it briefly after it was completed.

boring, the star makes no diff. 5.5

the design is too plain but the glass facade is nice... it looks really great at night with the big star is lit up... i give it a 8/10

Average tower w/nice blue glass. Lose the tacky star and it'd gain some dignity.

Simple, clean, uncomplicated facade. It soars well from street level, and the roof is great - especially at night.

Even the facade doesn't help as much as it might, because the color is dark and drab, at least in the pictures. Even the pyramid and the lighting don't save it from being boxy and dull. I'm not sure I'd ask the big "G" to put it on his "to-trample-and-crush" list, but it's sure nothing to write home about...

I think the pictures of this tower do not do it justice. The thing I like about the Star Tower is its width. It is very wide. Thus on a lovely spring, Seoul day, like today, you can see a huge expanse of blue sky and white clouds reflected on it's surface. Very nice.

For those of you who think the star looks tacky, fear not. I have lived in the shadow of this tower for the past year and have never once seen the star turned on. I didn't even know it had a star until I saw it in an ad for virtual officing in the local English daily.
