I don't say it is something special, but it is a rather unknown (I became aware of it right now) highrise that hosts students residences with its own pub.
I thought it was worth to name, since it is the 5th highrise in Göteborg and may be Sweden's tallest students residence. It has 16 floors and is 56 m tall and was built in 1964. It belongs to Chalmers.

It belongs to Stiftelsen Göteborgs Studentbostäder, SGS. Lots of people from Chalmers live there though.

What about "Nyponet" in Stockholm? Is it still a students residence? I dont have the figures but my guess is that it is rather high.

According to non-confirmed sources, Nyponet is 56 m (which also Ostkupan seems to be). So no one really knows which is taller :)

Skatteskrapan / Studentskrapan in Stockholm?

I didn't know that Nyponet is a students residence. And Skatteskrapan, has it been transformed into a students residence now? I have heard the talk, but have they actually done it?

...And iirc they were also going to add a coupld of storeys to Skatteskrapan...?

^ That's a part of the plan I think, but haven't heard anything new about it. Skatteskrapan is under reconstruction right now and will open as Studentskrapan next year.
