i think not much people looking for converted in serviced apartment as far as hotel industry have stepped on tht with new regulation... i think some luxury condo will give some spāce for serviced apartments depending on sales after completion, example in Urbana's ones, Baan Rajaprasong, and probably The Met and others... i saw that Twin Peaks on Sukumvit that advertise serviced apartment units, as far as i know, it was ocndo that have been sold. maybe a pool from owners.

I heard that many serviced apartments are now applying for hotel licenses because they depend alot on customers staying for less than one month...most will probably get those licenses so that might not be too big an obstacle :)

true, lots of them got it already... only those old ones will have problem 'cause you have to respect some restrictions. need some renovation about min. sizes, security etc... but i am more concerned about new condos that take market from them.. to be honest, what kind of 'service' you have better there than in a well-managed condo.. except the 1-year lease contract. but even that, due to competition in new completed condo buildings, i am pretty sure that 1-year minimum lease will be negotiable to 3-6 months.
