I didn't know Santa Cruz county would be that expensive, must be the beautiful scenery.

Yeah, its beautiful but it has more to do with supply and demand...it's still a lot cheaper then Marin, San Francisco and San Mateo.

Exactly... we can't. Except for the people who bought their houses before prices started skyrocketing, which they proceed to sell their old ones and buy an even better one.

Or if your family makes more than 100K.
