i ve heard this quarter is an home for drug dealers , and other criminals ,its rundown , nt consider to an third world slum/shantytown , but bad as like an us ghetto , is it rght or a stereotype? and have here any persn a few pictures of the sureal towers of ablo picaso (naterre) ? pls post them

Je dois avouer que j'aime bien ce quartier (architecturalement parlant). Le côté monumental et à la fois surréaliste de ces tours me plaît beaucoup. J'espère qu'on ne les détruira pas.
Quant à la sécurité du quartier, ben je pense que c'est un quartier sensible comme il en existe des tas d'autres en France, ni plus, ni moins. Toutes les grandes villes du monde ont leurs quartiers sensibles, Paris ne fait évidemment pas exception.

Moi aussi j'aime bien ce quartier, et le style atypique des tours.Dommage que ce soit un quartier ou il ne semble plus bon vivre ...La solution existe pourtant : le nettoyer au karcher. :)

Wait! Tour Nuages are not in Pablo Picasso quarter but in quartier du Parc. Quartier du Parc is a pretty good place. The only thing quartier du parc is between Pablo Picasso and la Defense and when hordes of "racailles" want to hang out in la Defense they have to walk through the qurtier du Parc.

La cité des nuages c’est la cité Pablo c’est pareil, après y’a le quartier mais c'est pratiquement la même chose Brice. Sur le blvd Pesaro à côté y'a les pyramides en escalier jusqu'a la préfecture et de l'autre côté des low rise le long d'une avenue. Plus loin encore c'est 2 cités normales avec des tours grises.
De quel côté du parc est tu allé pour dire que le quartier du parc est un quartier sympa?

No. I've never lived there but I think it's different.

According to me the residentials towers (tours Nuages) are in the "quartier du Parc". The crappy place with drug dealer is Pablo Picasso. This place is full of project buildings/commie blocks.
When I was a student I remember I had friends who smoked canabis. They used to go in Pablo Picasso and it was not where the bizarre towers are.

By the way, Klas, you're almost right even if there's a lot of worst and more dangerous places.
Also the police is more aggressive and had always been more aggressive in this area. Much more than in Seine St Denis. Don't forget Nanterre and generally speaking les Hauts de Seine was Pasqua's stronghold (now Sarcozy) and order must reign. Also
Nanterre's main police station is just few stories below Sarcozy's office.

Hey yo look, i live in Pablo Picasso. I take part of the street life in this place, and i can also tell you that here it can be like the Bronx. If you wanna find any kinda drug you can, if you wanna have biatch you can, you can even find weapon man.
Pablo Picasso is one of the best street around Paris. Cops have to come with more than 50 or 100 guys to arrest just one man in here.
