Forza Raalte August 4th, 2005, 11:00 PM Great hint. It is Doesburg for sure.
eusebius August 4th, 2005, 11:08 PM Forza Raalte Does points!! :pepper:
It's Duisburg, or rather Doesburg just east of Arnhem, a hanseatic city still as populous as 5 or 600 years ago: 11k :D
Very small, yet with enough problems to meet the criterions set for inner city renewal projects. So Doesburg somehow ranks along with Amsterdam or Rotterdam
The church tower is tall, was 97m, now down to 93m - shot at by the French and Germans and partly rebuilt after 1945.
