Is it four star?I show the early construction. It looks all nice in the pic, but its quite a dark area with building shadows. Maybe it was just the time of day though.

Im EXTREMELY dissappointed that this prime site for a much taller tower has gone wasted on a 10 story hotel! I sincerely hope this lowrise hotel will go down or be scrapped altogether. What on earth are they thinking anyway- 5 hotels on 1 block??

i think the big problem is just what u mentioned! CT central should be building much more than 8-14F in foreshore...these new buildings are just taking up space!

I love this building too, especially it's contemporary ediface, which I think is classy and funky! What is the progress with this building?

I believe this one is complete... sorry, harkerb : P... But Joburg, I agree- it's a gorgeous building!

If the demand for taller buildings hits, they can always make room for taller stuff.

O yeah, I now remember there was some scuffling going on last time I past by... There were previous talks of a Hilton hotel to be built there though. Pity we didnt get that one at least! sigh...

I have got some and it is looking pretty funky. Will upload as soon as my boss is not looking over my shoulder! :) No, actually I have to finish this proposal for the renewal of our Campus reticulation network and the automisation of all our substations, so I'm a bit tied up. But will do asap.

the hotel is done and open for business. Last week they were just laying pavers outside. The red exterior is pretty funky and cool.
