Thanks for the pics.
There is one thing I couldn't see in your pictures however, ........people.
The streets look like there is a curfew going on.

Ahh, most streets in the downtown of most cities are quiet between 1AM and 6AM. The areas that aren't are those that cater to the evening crowds, the entertainment districts per se. In downtown Edmonton, you'll see more activity near 109 Street and Jasper than 101 Street and Jasper as that area forms the business/financial district.

Jasper Properties is a nice looking building.

Re: 93rd Street - I think they are doing some infrastructure work. I was unable to find any development permit info via the City of Edmonton website.

There is also a nice little infill project right where 102 Ave meets Jasper. At first I thought it would look like a POS, but then I noticed they used alot of stone and brick on the facade and it looks promising.

Well, it looks as though the Worlds Masters were more than a success. Once again, Edmonton pulls off another stellar event!

'Most perfect' World Masters Games add to Edmonton's event legacy

Add the 2005 World Masters Games to Edmonton's portfoilio of sucessful world-class events.

Described by International Masters Games Preident Kai Holm as ". . . the most perfect games ever," the World Masters Games drew over 21,000 athletes from 84 countries, July 22-31. More than 16,000 of the athletes were from outside the region, generating an estimated economic impact of $20 million on Greater Edmonton.

The highly successful games, which included 5,000 local volunteers, contributes to Edmonton's growing reputation as a premier major events host.

Nice building - is it just angle used or is it really that thin?
