So now that we hear this one is having hotel rooms...it must be nearly complete...any pics guys?? also the render have gone :(

They're painting it at the moment, and fitting in windows have stuff. I had some photos a while back, but I don't know where they've gone. I'll post some photos ASAP..

The Splice building is a new sectional title apartment building under construction in Riviera situated on the corner of Main and Riviera roads.
It consists of the following: The building was sold as a hotel style apartment block which emphasised a “Lifestyle Centre” where the facilities include:
Primary facility: 137 apartments, (originally 138, one purchaser bought two units and combined them, thus reducing the number of apartments to 137).

-1. Cleaning and housekeeping services for the apartments (three times a week with an option to extend to seven) as well as laundry, car washing and dry cleaning facilities
-1. Coffee bar / Internet lounge including broadband internet services

-1. Kid’s playroom / multi media centre
-1. Gymnasium, with the option of personal training on a one on one basis.

To date approximately 111 of the apartments have been sold to individual purchasers. The profiles of the purchasers are up market buyers who have either purchased their units to live in or as investments.
Urban Hip Hotels is a new company specializing in the management of serviced apartments placed in a rental pool by the owners. Their business model allows for the letting of these apartments on both short stay (one night, two nights etc.) and long stay (two, six or twelve months) rentals.
Urban Hip Hotels is an innovative new concept in Apartment Rental Pool Management in South Africa. The Company, born out of the successful inner city redevelopments, is currently managing buildings and rental pools in the Johannesburg central business district and is set to move to other cities shortly.

it was completed a good 9 months ago. and not all apartments are put in the rental pool
