Concept
A calm and serene residential area surrounded by lush green meadows, sparkling water bodies and shady trees; equipped with every luxury and convenience. This project is the vision of Mr. Hafeez Butt who conceived this idea on his return

from a London trip, where he had a chance to visit a similar township. Back home in Pakistan, he set on to replicate the charm and beauty of that complex in a place that was far from the hustle and bustle of the city, yet close enough to be within short commuting distance to city and back.

Finding the right architect to bring this idea into shape was the next step. After rejecting several options, Mr. Butt found the people who could match his vision. And so the project entered into the planning stage.

A lot of thinking went into deciding the location of this natural paradise. Various options such as Steel Town and the suburbs were considered but disregarded as they were too far from the city for a convenient living. Eventually, Mr. Butt came up with the idea of developing Green Wood near the Northern Bypass and Lyari Express. A mere 20 minute drive from the city centre and much before the planned DHA Phase IX, this area was agreed upon as the ideal location for this green heaven. And so came into being the Billy’s Green Wood Residency.

well i like it, plus they dont have lots of land, and if you notice, most people go jogging on the footpaths, so its a good idea to putt a jogging track there.

lol i totally agree about the renderings ! I think its a good project though, it looks like when its built it may well be a nice and calm place.

HYDERABAD, March 18: District Nazim Kanwar Naveed Jamil here on Monday night laid the foundation stone of Ghangra Mori bypass which would be completed in six months as per schedule at a cost of Rs900 million.

Speaking on the occasion he said that work on eight flyovers, one underpass, and five bridges was in progress at a hectic pace.

He said all these projects will be completed within a year.

Nazim city taluka, Javed Jabbar; naib taluka nazim Latif, Shujauddin Shaikh, Hyderabad Development Package Project Director Syed Sarfaraz Ali Shah, officers of the district government and a large number of people of the area attended the inaugural ceremony.

Mr Kanwar Naveed said that the district government was striving hard to convert the historical city of Hyderabad into an ultra modern city by providing modern facilities to its citizens.

He pointed out that in view of the ever increasing traffic problems there was a dire need of constructing alternative routes to save people from inconvenience.

The images are bit older the current progress is much more than this and the good thing i lkie about this project is they are also doing landscaping with the construction and you can see lot of greenery on the construction site

Each having two parts.
(ii) Cottages: 14 Buildings Consisting G + 3, Pent Houses
(iii) Duplexes: 7 Buildings Consisting G + 1 / II + III , Pent Houses

(v) Building for High School
(vi) Masjid
(vii) Swimming pools and Gymnasium
(viii) Indoor Games

- Construction of the Project started w.e.f July 2006 i.e. after approval of revised Designed Drawings due to Earth Quake DT: 8-10-05.
- As overall about 20% works have been completed and construction work in under progress as per schedule of construction as under:-

GENERAL
Excavation work and 1:4:8 concreting has been completed at the entire Project for isolated and Raft Foundations.

CONDOMINIUMS:

TOWER - I:
(i) Raft Foundations completed.
(ii) Concreting slab / Beams completed upto 6th slab on both parts i.e. upto level + 55’ – 0.
(iii) Block Masonry followed after slab / beam cartrings and completed upto level + 35’ – 0.
Elevational Structure completed upto level + 35’ – 0.

TOWER - II:
1. Excavation and 1:4:8 has already been completed.
2. Under Ground Water Tanks Construction for Tower I / II and II / III are speedily in progress. After 100% completion of U.G.W.T both the sides of Tower II the work of Raft Foundation shall be started.

TOWER - III:
1. After completion of excavation, 1:4:8 concreting, Raft Foundation and Retaining walls the Structure Work is speedily in progress.
2. Both the Car parking Floors Slab / Beam have been Casted i.e. upto level + 15’ – 0 the Slab/ Beam concreting has been completed. Other works are in Progress.

TOWER - IV:
Excavation and 1:4:8 concreting has been completed. Raft Foundation concreting is in progress and 60% Works have been completed, while works of STEEL FIXING for remaining RAFT AREA is in progress.

COTTAGES:

# 01:
(i) After completion of Excavation, 1:4:8 and Foundation concreting, Structure work upto 4th Slab / Beam has been completed U.G.WT. Also completed.
(ii) Block Masonry work upto 3rd Floor / 4th Slab has been completed.
(iii) Other works are under Progress.

# 02:
(i) After completion of Excavation, 1:4:8 and Foundation concreting, Structure work upto 4th Slab / Beam has been completed U.G.WT. Also completed.

QUALITY CONTROL:
1. The works under progress are being carried out under highly Experienced and qualified team of supervision staff. Specifications are also being strictly followed. The quality of material is also being cheeked before its use.
2. Practice of preparation of cubes at site from randomly selected batched of concrete for laborty testing 7 days/ 28 days is being followed. The cubes are being tested from reputed laboratories as well as from the N.E.D.University of Engineering and Technology. Karachi.
3. The Sample of construction Material like, Steel, Cement, Aggregate are also being got tested from the renowned laboratories.
