It has grown on me. I remember being very amused when I saw it..it looks like a candy stick of sorts. T for Tacky.

theres something in this building which i dont like, the bottom part.. and i'm not a big fan of boxes.

I like this tv tower 8/10.

It's a very cool building, but i HATE the colour ! They should have made it in silver or something, but NOT that purple and yellow/brown... :mad: 6.5/10...

Oh yeah i like this one.Really fits the city too i think.

The first time I saw it (on TV), my first words were "what were they thinking". Needless to say, I'm not too crazy about this structure. Maybe seeing it in person would elicit a different emotion from me, but right now it's a 5.

It gets 10/10 for breaking with tradition and reinventing tower design. The pink reflective glass also extra marks too. Props to this tower it represents it's style perfectly.

It's elegant and original. It also has a lot of Chinese characteristics in it and therefore makes the Pudong skyline Chinese. Without the oriental pearl and jin mao and recently the mandarin oriental twins, the skyline could easily fit into any nation, even though it may be as classy and distinct as it may look.

Was in Shanghai back in September and got some photos - only just remembered I had them! :lol:

I don't really like it during the day...the stained concrete and pink glass isn't great IMO. BUT at night I love the lighting and I think it makes the skyline really energetic. If they could just do something to make it look better during the day...

I find it too chunky and a bit gaudy.
I can appreciate it being unique but I don't find it refined but rather disjointed and over bearing.
