Why call it "the other OC"?

1) Onondaga County is the largest populated "OC" county in New York State.
2) Onondaga County is home to the SU Orange!;)

Thanks for viewing!

great looking county....I like some of those pics with the big houses, but they probably won't go ever well on this board. Skineatles lake looks great...looks very similar to Chautauqua Lake where I grew up.

very nice county. it seems to have everything: farms, fields, forests, mountains, villages, new homes, a big city, lakes, and so on. plenty of things to see by car, boat, or foot.

It's like every time a Syracuse thread comes on here...I appreciate the city more and more.

One thing that Syracuse has that Buffalo nor Rochester have is what is seemingly a very well preserved and clean downtown, free of massive projects that have either failed or look dumb (Inner Loop, No Main St. traffic)

The city and county seem to be growing steady and the overall feel from the photos tells me they could give two damns for their buddies to the west or thier cousins to the southeast. lol

nice photos.

Interesting variety of pics. I like the stone housing in the 4th pic, and this is a new angle of the city I've not seen before(very cool):

Nice set of photos, and good to see some positive looks at Onondaga, thanks CC.

ExIth, exactly...nice photo indeed.

considering that Syracuse's tallest it at 315 feet, and it has several towers around 250 feet, surrounded by hills...it does not to the skyline justice.

For those of us in Buffalo imagine a skyline of M&T Plaza, Key North and the Tishman building...still up there among Buffalo's ranks.
