The Omnipresent Manchester

Part I (http://www.skyscrapercity.com/showthread.php?t=243434)

Part II (http://www.skyscrapercity.com/showthread.php?t=243435)

If you want to use the pictures I took - you CAN, but if you do can you save them and then re-upload them. The reason: I've posted them enough times around SSP and SSC that they already must be close to their bandwith limit

You had all better appreciate them as well - took me ages to put them all up one by one! I've been to Manchester several times before but its changed a lot - it needs to get its boundaries redefined though AND get more towers going up - more 150m+ well-designed (and preferably other than Simpson) towers also

PS - EarlyBird reply to the thread - you know what one

What do you think I am, made of RAM?
My computer is more of a Jarvis than a Beetham if you get my drift, and it crashes every time I try to look at these?
Any advice short of a complete internal reclad?

Fab pair of big lucious threads, but please, some of those files are massive! My poor laptop is in pain!

Great job Mr.Taylor, you've captured a decent 'street-level' medley of pix.
We are gonna have to make you an honorary Mancunian. Keys to the city an all that. Your mate EB will be well pleased ;)

If you're viewing in IE, stop the page before it has a chance to load the images (but make sure the page's full layout is loaded) and right click > show image on each of the red exes. That's how I coped viewing this forum last year.

Cheers Dgnr8, works a treat, actually just using IE works, I feel a little silly for not having thought of that!

And top pics Nick, thanks kindly.

Haven't contacted her yet - keep them a bit worried and then go in for the kill - she'll have to be naturalised for the south though

Sorry for the size - I've posted those 2 threads around 4 times now and it does slow down my laptop a bit as well and I don't skim on the size of pic quality.

What were your fav pics then?

great photos.

Manchester really does have so many beautiful buildings that you often miss when working/shopping etc. So many different styles as well.

good work.

Would have been good to include a couple of Uni of Manc photo's but it is quite a walk from the city center.
