source26 August 15th, 2005, 02:17 AM would be a nice project, I dont think its even approved yet,
and there is little financial sense in it - nobody would want to live
there!
[MakkabI] August 15th, 2005, 09:24 AM Oh, I never heard of that project... it looks amazing!!!
Is it for office?
ZOHAR August 15th, 2005, 09:25 AM wooow great building:)
TeLaVivi August 15th, 2005, 12:26 PM Never heard of it ... very nice .
Shohad August 15th, 2005, 02:14 PM It will do much for Haifa's skyline if it is built. I like the complex a lot.
what zim has to do with it?
source26 August 15th, 2005, 02:16 PM Let Go!!
it wont be built in 20 years from now,
or in Haifa language: It wont be built ever.
I read in the Kolbo paper 4 years ago that it was cancelled
because haifa already has 500,000 square meters of vacant
offices and nobody will live in those residential towers also!
Azazel August 15th, 2005, 05:29 PM The proportions on that CGI are out of whack! These palm trees are unrealistically enormous.
Anyhow, I don't really like it, I'd rather have a couple of different towers rather than a "fat" complex. And yes, there is no office space demand these days, so... "yawn".
source26 August 15th, 2005, 05:57 PM whats wrong with giant palm trees?
its the only way that they will seem to give any shade anyway :)
Azazel August 15th, 2005, 10:25 PM It's an unrealistic image.
Shohad August 15th, 2005, 10:44 PM Israel is one step ahead in genetic engineering=super palms.
TalB August 16th, 2005, 04:23 AM Either way, it would be good for Haifa to have more skyscrapers downtown in which it only has a few right now.
Azazel August 16th, 2005, 01:01 PM Yeah, that's true. But i'd rather have the skyscrapers develop differently. For example, I don't want the current Zim building destroyed. There is plenty of room to build a skyscraper in the adjacent parking lot. Plus, I want another, different project, tower, of a slightly smaller, or taller stature. This way, when there is a "complex", the buildings tend to look too similar - like in this project. The govt. complex is lucky, since it got the sail to contrast Building A.
source26 August 16th, 2005, 01:06 PM yes we need more towers in the cbd.
and removing the port and making into something like the docklands in london.
and bringing 20,000 people more to live and work there, in 2 train stations.
and building 5-6 towers around the government center to make it dense and
complete.
fantasies, fantasies
Azazel August 16th, 2005, 04:26 PM I don't think we have to remove the port- What we have to do is revitalize properties near the harbor. I am talking about Shemen Beach, and the Downtown.
ZOHAR February 14th, 2006, 10:51 PM what about this tower?approved?
Kappa21 February 15th, 2006, 06:28 AM Haifa is such a shit place. Not because Azazel is from there...but because of its old texture, its nuclear plant and its mountain type lifestlye....i dont know...i and zohar prefer Tel Aviv :D
But who is the architecht of this even..kinda looks like a U/C building(s) in Petach Tikva called the Akra Towers....

Azazel February 15th, 2006, 12:21 PM Not because Azazel is from there...
Yeah, but I contribute still, right?

What Haifa needs is government money. But we are fucked by the national government.
Kappa21 February 15th, 2006, 06:16 PM ^^ you contribute alot :D
hey!?!? Where is my pictures i posted that showed the Petach Tikva building.
