Moody August 17th, 2005, 08:53 PM Thanks Dear Source26...:)
Gaza is really Developed, I mean look at Yemen!! they would dream to have proper roads and buildings, Resort Hotels as found in Gaza.
mohammad August 18th, 2005, 12:38 AM Gaza has a lot of potential, and its waterfront is very spectacular to see. :) Hopefully it will boost economic expansion in that region.
Thanks for sharing those images source26.
ZOHAR August 18th, 2005, 02:03 AM i think soon Palestine will build more and more high buildings reason is a fast grew of population and so small place
SpotlessMind August 18th, 2005, 02:11 AM It is so uplifting to see something positive coming out of Palestinian cities. It gives some hope and makes you wonder what is possible, if there was only peace.... *sigh*
Dubai_Boy August 18th, 2005, 02:34 AM Hmmm
mohammad August 18th, 2005, 03:15 PM i think soon Palestine will build more and more high buildings reason is a fast grew of population and so small place
Probably. I personally think that 20-30 floor buildings are more than enough for Gaza settlements/cities. Anything more than that would definitely by over-exagerrated.
Dont worry about the population figures though. Every part of the World has regions which go through positive population growth rate, then negative population growth rate etc. :)
Qatar4Ever August 18th, 2005, 03:59 PM Trust me just a couple of pic of 10 story towers with glass facade doenst make things all the better in pali. Things arent as good as these pic seem to indicate.
source26 August 18th, 2005, 04:03 PM qatar4ever, look at Nablus and show me the problem then?
Nabus, Ramallah or Gaza look better, build taller and have better infastructure than 80 percent of arab cities and towns..
Shohad August 18th, 2005, 04:13 PM Trust me just a couple of pic of 10 story towers with glass facade doenst make things all the better in pali. Things arent as good as these pic seem to indicate.
Not everything is that good in Jordan or Yemen or Egypt or Syria or Iran. Those are quite poor countries. The truth is Israel helped a lot for the palis from 1967-1988, i don’t want to start arguing about it though.
source26 August 18th, 2005, 04:38 PM Hey Ive met very nice people from Syria who were doctors, they were in cyprus also on vacation, and they worked in gaza and said gaza city and hebron were ten times better than allepo in syria where they lived.

Dubai_Boy August 19th, 2005, 02:28 AM i dont see whats so breath-taking here !! well i do believe that humans live in palestine so ofcourse u will have houses and buildings !!! DUH , that dont last for long , now do they ?
source27 August 19th, 2005, 08:56 AM dubai boy, believe me in nablus they have a better quality of life than most dubai citizens.. what doesnt last long? do you see anything you dont like in these pictures? or maybe youll tell me next they are from somewhere else because you cant stand the fact they are lying to the arab world?
100Marhaba August 19th, 2005, 01:53 PM guys this is nothing for palestine!
compare palestine in 1920's until the 1940's, to the arabian gulf and the rest of the modern arab world, it was 10 times more beautiful and advanced they had everything villas with 13 room! cars everything! if today there would be no israel palestine would be the richest and most beautiful place in all of the arab world! it was like this at the time of the abbasids and the ommayads, it was like this at the time of the mamlukes and the ottomans, and im not joking seriously! it wasnt the capital thought when we say palestine the richest places are, yafa, haifa, al-quds(Jerusalem) and Hebron.
if you dont believe it go search for a book called:
Before their Diaspora
written by: Walid Khalidi
http://www.palestine-studies.org/final/en/books/item.php?id=224&PHPSESSID=af36ec333e1f0d24abb24e5879faa937
this is all crap for palestine, palestine is supposed to be 1000x more beautiful.
and dubai boy is right these cities dont last long! such as Jenin! and Rafah! *rafah was a heaven on earth!*
and these cities are ones that are now very hard for the Israeli invading forces to enter.
Shohad August 19th, 2005, 02:50 PM Marhaba, ahalan wasahaln to you as well, but the belief itself doesn’t makes what you believe in to be the truth you know.
Dubai boy, it is not the point. The point is that they exaggerate greatly about their living conditions which they claim to be unbearable.
source27 August 19th, 2005, 03:30 PM heaven on earth?
before the jews came israel was swamps, jews bought swamps and dry lands that
arabs were to lazy to farm in..
The emeq izrael valley was bought because it flooded every year and no arab fallah wanted it, gaza sands before the jewish villages was called the cursed land because nothing grew there
the palestinians were ALWAYS the poorest of arab countries, under ottoman rule this land had nothing, they were living poorly as fisherman and cattle herders and grew olives.. you think this would have made them rich? under the ottomans the arabs deforested almost all the country for selling coal
and building railway tracks, there were hundreds dying from malaria in the swamps near the kinneret, bedoins were entering from jordan and looting the arab villages.. what do you even know apart from your fantasies?
youre living in a fantasy world and palestinians can say whatever they like but before jews returned here, this land was desolate and barren and they were living in small
stone houses of 4 meters by 4 meters or in caves even,
youre full of their sick propaganda.. today they are all living in 6 room double storey villas.. give us a break and go spread their rewritten history of themselves elsewhere.. until 1900's there didnt even exist a palestian people.. they have nothing different than syrians because thats where they came from..
rafah was heaven on earth? yeah sure.. and jerico was an oasis the size of bagdad
and jerusalem was paved with gems and diamonds
haha
heres what your paradise like in 1948: bayt natif: 10 one-room houses, some donkeys and dust

source27 August 19th, 2005, 04:51 PM no, just chosen by god to have israel..
not like muslims believe they were chosen by god to rule the world..
Shohad August 19th, 2005, 04:57 PM Don’t start religious arguments source! It will never end! Let’s treat each other with respect, ignoring provocations.
Gilgamesh August 19th, 2005, 05:56 PM compare palestine in 1920's until the 1940's, to the arabian gulf
It's hard for people with an EDUCATION to compare Palestine with a place that doesnt exists.
