hi people i'm wondering will it (JAKARTA TOWER) become successful landmark (well known) and boost tourism into Jakarta/Indonesia ?

cos look at other SEA cities they have famous landmark like:

Malaysia-Petronas Twin Tower

Singapore-Orchard Road / Merlion

as u know Many people still doesn't know Jakarta and currently we do not have famous landmark for our city maybe local know Monas but people doesn't know

So Is JKT TOWER will become international Landmark in Future ?? (like Shanghai Oriental Pearl Tower) ??

Something can become a landmark if it DOES treated like a landmark. If Jakarta tower does not receive the support from business and government (eg. marketing, zoning etc), then it will never become a landmark. It will just become another tall tower in Jakarta.

IMHO it is hard this days for something to become a landmark. Not like the Pyramid etc that instantly become a landmark. Tall building is not exclusive anymore. In the past not only money and resources, but you need the technology know how too. Today, someone with lots of money can build anything. In today time, landmark is invented, not created.
