I asked for these and I had to find and post them.
as you could see the nice wonderful park in the middle of saigon has been split in halves, or more because of the many terrible buildings they put up.

the 2nd and 3rd photos are the newest pictures
on the second photo you could see the plot adjecent to the New World hotel has also cleared away and soon will be another 35 storeys buildings............but the structure on the foreground I'm not sure what they're building, but that also soon rising another skyscrapper.
however I'm not sure what that's the function of that small frenchy imitation building near the Huyen SY church.
I swear every time I see this park and the Caravelle hotel I just wanted to chửi thề

here is the park during the 60-70s when it used to be a railway
if ya look closely you could see the Ben Thanh market tower and the small apartment which is now the New World hotel

ok thanks bang... well the park looks great, but what is that ugly grey building surounding a small "pound" ? this one should be destroyed....
