This may be old news for many of you, but I saw no post of it, so I thought I would inform those that didn't know about the new cranes. Anyway, West One's site now has 4 cranes on it, or perhaps this is for West One and N, although Im not sure....either way there are cranes on the site, so I guess construction has begun. It's a nice new site to see as you drive in to the city...especially with pinnacle moving along so quickly, and 18 yonge and infinity also moving up fast. That area is gonna look very nice and dense finally after years of rolling fields....lol
Cheers!

"and 18 yonge and infinity also moving up fast"
18 Yonge is probably the slowest construction I've seen in Toronto.

True that it is slow, but I just meant in the scheme of things, not literally fast moving....just the idea that the area is coming up fast and these building are helping more... I guess I should have concentrated on what I was writing instead of DJ'ing...lol

How about that massive piece of land between the development site and the Bathurst St. bridge?

That is for the rest of the Cityplace developement. It will take a good many years to complete everything. There was supposed to be 20 highrises in total. After the 5 complete now, the 4 HVE buildings & N, West One, & Neo, we have a total of 12 that are built or u/c. That means we still have 8 more to go. Plus some low rises, a large urban park, townhomes a school & a rec. centre. My estimate is about 8 more years barring a major condo glut.

I think about 2/3rds of the land will be City Place.

The next phase of Cityplace is planned to be launched this fall. Should be a tower in the 44s to 48s range. The next phase will be in the Neo block.
