What's going on?
Is it...
a) on hold
b) cancelled
Secondly, is Disney planning to build an amusement park in Shanghai or Beijing? Also, I heard that Universal Studios had already started construction on the park in Shanghai but then I heard it got cancelled? I'm so confused... can someone sort this out?

Then what happens to the construction site which Universal had already started constructing on? Disney's taking it? Also, does anyone have a map of the area where the park was supposed to be? I heard it'd be in Pudong but I'd like to know where exactly...

Hopefully none of them ever will be built. If I wanted to live in the US, I wouldn't have left.
If Chinese cities want to build theme parks why don't they build ones whose theme is based on chinese culture?

^ in 50 years time chinese cities will be filled with non chinese but foreign stuff by then the country will have no character and all culture will be lost....i cant believe this is the path they are actually taking they dont consider the countrys long term outlook...sigh very sad indeed
