I mean like the one in Pattaya. It's realy a nice one. Wide street, no car and many nice shops. I haven't seen any this real shopping street in BKK. Should BKK have this kind of things?

The closest that i can think of are Siam Sq, Chatuchak, SuamLum or Patpong 1 & 2.

It's actually closed for traffic in the evening, just like walking street in Pattaya ;) I don't know if they will take away parked vehicles during closed hours or not.

I think RCA is also closed in the evening!?

Edit: there are many narrow shopping streets in Chinatown, but yeah they are narrow :)

Definitely, Bangkok should have more of these pedestrian zones!

I think maybe Suam Loom night' is the closest one to what we call shoping street! It's a nice place with munerous of shops and wide walkpath. Though I sometimes see car running around :)

I totally agree with you. J Avenue is the shopping mall in Soi Thonglor and has a parking space.
