^^ Whats the point of covering bricks with glass?
Hypothetical situation, a nand pushes a kid through the glass because of a family squabble (or something similar to Star plus) and tries to pin it on the negligence of the shareef loving mother who is a complete angel and her husband prefers her over his own mother and sister, which makes the 2 very jealous. Chain of events

1. Mob burns down the building.

2. If the owner shows up, he might get killed. (Think Sialkot)

3. All building construction in Lahore halted.

4. Media gets wind of it and blows it out of proportions (Geo)

5. Public gets emotional.

6. Politicians see it as an opportunity to score votes. And do every thing to publicly destroy everyone involved in anyway (including the ones who took pics of the building for SSC).

So the owner is only looking after him/herself, all because of starplus.

Uuuh, there's something called safety. Thats most likely an apartment, even if it isn't, it really doesn't matter as I am sure that its going to be covered by glass later on.

:nuts:what kind of saftey is that,

you dont put bricks behind a glass wall for safety, i guess youve never ever been inside a glass tower before.

you either put a glass wall or a brick wall, who mixes the two.

I don't know the type of glass being used in this but generally you can't just break it.

Actually you can, glass being used on most of the buildings is breakable, I have seen the quality of the glass at big city and Rabi center up close and it is not much better than the garden variety glass used for homes nothing special (and certainly easily breakable). All about costs.

Firstly I guess that they have changed the all view of the building... :bash:
Secondly according to them that they will be able to hand over the shops @ P & P1 by the end of 2012(Not even a final decision)... and rest of the work will take 3 more years after that...
