Hello people... I've posted some of these in the Manc threads, but after posting in the world forums I just realised that some of you may not see them and that some of them hadn't been posted in the UK section anyway. Some of them are buildings you see a lot of, but others are views of places I've not seen on here before...

Great pics.Jumped on a train from Hindley to Manchester yesterday and had a great day. The place gets you addicted ,cant stay away now. You need to visit to apprieciate it.Has a continental vibe in parts with a large pavement cafe culture.

It's amazing how much the street cafes are taking off right now. There's almost one around every corner now.

I love the fact that im in piccadilly every morning getting to work. Gradualy seeing betham tower and great northern tower get taller and City tower get another floor recladed. There is always that buzz in the City centre at rush hour when everyone is rushing to work. :)

Depends where you are . Most of the city centre is devoid of scallies although piccadilly square has its fair share. Its the inner city areas where the scallies are.

Fantastic set of pics there! Manc seems so shiny and new, the standard has definitely been set here for other Northern cities to follow, I hope Liverpool can follow Manc's lead in terms of refurbishment of historic buildings and high quality re-development of derelict areas.
